I wanted to fill you on my new yoga classes and teaching schedule. I just wrapped up a 6 week kids session at The Ballet School. We had class for 45 minutes, instead of the 30 that I have done in the past. It gave the kids and I more time to practice different yoga breaths and more time for discussion and poses. I really enjoyed the extra time with the kids and I think that they did too.
My next kids session is starting April 3rd at The Ballet School. I will be back to 30 minute classes, so that I can have one more Parent & Tot class before summer is here. If you could let me know in advance if you will be attending, I would greatly appreciate it.
- PARENT & CHILD YOGA (ages 2-6) Time: 4 – 4:30
- SCHOOL AGE YOGA (5+) Time: 4:30 – 5
- Dates: April 3, 10, 17 and May 1, 8 & 15 – Cost for either class: $42
Starting this week on Wednesday nights, a 5 week session for a one hour adult class will run through the Highgate Library. It is $30 for the 5 week session and registration is through Liza at the Highgate Library.
Also NEW is LUNCH CRUNCH YOGA, starting in April on Wednesdays from 12:00 – 12:30 at Barlow Street School. Registration for that is through the St. Albans Recreation Department www.stalbansrec.com
Looking ahead to summer, I am going to teach a Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga class – woo hoo! I have partnered up with Northshore Sail-Kite-Surf for paddleboard rentals and we will meet Monday nights at the Bay Park. You can sign up on http://www.stalbansrec.com
